solution

Hada is a Pot-bird drinker, designed for urban spaces that seek to attract wild species such as hummingbirds to the home landscape, Hada has a self-watering system that gives it greater independence for its maintenance.

The self-irrigation system works on the principle of drip irrigation, where the plant absorbs the water according to what it needs, to achieve this we used a water container, which is filled by the user every 2 weeks, and a soil container that would fit in the main hole of the water container.

The soil container has 4 holes located in its middle part, through these holes, the water enters and flows from the water container to the soil container.

Prototype

The manufacturing process of the water container was carried out using a serial drawing in acrylic, then the parts were joined with a special glue and the container was given a coat of paint for a better seal.

In the upper part, where the dirt container fits, a rubber was placed to allow a better assembly of the two containers and avoid water filtration.
